Mapping our Impact
Find out who is using our maps, how and why it matters.
HTT maps are used by a variety of people in a wide range of contexts. The information on this page is indicative but not exhaustive. If you'd like to use HTT maps for any purpose, please request permission via our contact form.

Educators
Education is at the heart of everything we do. Our Key Stage 2 initiative, 'Place Detectives', is where we create teaching materials for primary schools based on our cartography. Extracts from our maps are also frequently reproduced for museums, exhibitions and academic works.

Local Communities
We love that our maps give communities a sense of civic pride, belonging and custodianship. Knowledge is power, and being aware of a town's history gives locals the confidence to make better planning decisions about their built environments and preserve their urban heritage.

General Public
Engaging the public with free walks and talks is one of the many ways in which we're able to demonstrate the impact of urban events and communities over time. We often partner with historical, archaeological and arts organisations to bring the past to life in new and interesting ways.
