Professor Caroline Barron OBE

Caroline Barron is Emeritus Professor of Medieval History at Royal Holloway, University of London. She has a particular interest in the history of medieval London and worked with Roddy Lobel and Henry Johns on the HTA 1989 volume The City of London from Prehistoric Times to c.1520


Since then she has contributed to the two Town & City Historical Maps of Medieval London and Tudor London. She  also chairs the Projects and Programmes Committee of the Historic Towns Trust.

Professor Caroline Barrn OBE, trustee and former Chair of the HTT, has written an article on the history of the project, with an emphasis on its Oxford connections, for the History Faculty of Oxford University.
